Ah, our first blog. Where do I start? We're so excited to have a way to keep up with our friends and family all of the states, so here goes...
Ryan and I are still in Pittsburgh PA. I'm teaching at a small music school called the Center for Young Musicians, and Ryan is teaching/playing in several local orchestras. He's playing some excellent music this year- Brahms 2 and 3, Beethoven, Mozart, all kinds of good stuff.
We're members at City Reformed Presbyterian Church and enjoy the community we've found there.
So life is good here, and God has certainly been so good. But we do miss the mountains and our family. :)
Mainly I wanted a way for you all to see our lives here, so here are some
pics of our apartment, us, Ryan's bass, etc.
We'll be traveling during Thanksgiving week to see family in California. My sister got married in May to a great guy named Brian. Congrats you two! In August we were able to go to Hilton Head again with the family I nanny for. That was a blast, but we were rained out with the hurricanes so we left a day early. :)
